I love weekends!

So, I'm very excited for this upcoming weekend. Usually I'm busy cheering and such but now that cheer is over I feel so free! Not that I don't like cheering, I just needed a break. So anyways, Friday my good friend Brittney and I are going to go see the movie Shutter Island and go eat. It should be a lot of fun! Then Saturday I get to sleep in! Woo hoo! After I awake I'm going to go to Shawn's house with Kelsey, Serena, Chase, Allen, Derek, and Shawn. We're all going to go mudding with our four wheelers! After we do that for awhile we're going to clean up and then go to the movies and stuff. Then we will go back to Shawn's house and have a lovely time. Sunday I plan on getting up and going to church then coming home and relaxing for a bit, then at 6:00 I sing with the swing choir at a church, I'm not sure where. I'm very much looking forward to all of this though! Hopefully everything goes as plans and we all have a fun time!

boating! wooo!!

After all of this cold weather and snow I am ready for some summer! I'm so ready to get in my bathing suit and shorts and get in the pool and enjoy the sun! In my book, one of the best parts of summer is boating. Ever since I was about 7 or 8 we've gone down to Barkley Lake in
Kentucky and have gone boating. At first we didn't have a boat but some friends of ours did and we would go stay with them. Then when I was around 11 we bought two jet skies. They were so much! Then two years ago we finally bought a boat! It's a red and white sea ray. Not only do we go down to the lake a lot but we also go to the patoka river pretty much every weekend. I love to tube, ski, and wakeboard. A lot of my friend's family's have boats as well so when we all go out together it's super duper fun!

piggies!

Anybody who knows me well knows that I love pigs and have for a long time. I'm not really sure what got me into pigs, I've just always loved them! I have a collection on my shelf in my room of all kinds of pigs from several different places. I have some from Hawaii and Mexico and random ones that people have picked up for me at odd places. This past spring I got the joy of getting my own piggy! Her name is Bess and I adore her. She is a black potbelly pig but isn't very big, around 60 pounds, which is small compared to some potbelly pigs. She is very friendly and loves people. Pigs live for about thirty years so hopefully I'll have her until I'm about 50! That is a long long time! Wooo! When we first got her she was very small. She slept in my room with me for the first week or so. She would sleep all during the day and at night was wide awake oinking all the time! It was like having a baby around. She finally learned that she was supposed to be asleep at night, and started sleeping in her pen outside. Bess is a very good piggy and I am proud to be her mother :)

soccer

Soccer has always been a big part of my life. I started playing soccer when I was in first grade, around eight years old. I remember my first team was red and we were called the fast foxes. I played at Winslow where they used to have the soccer fields and then they moved to Otwell. I love love love soccer! I now am a junior and in the spring will start conditioning for my senior year of soccer! Most of the time I'm a attacking midfielder or occasionally a forward. I'm really excited about the upcoming season and am hoping to do well!

spring break :)

So as we all know spring break is coming up! Woooo! Last year I went to Florida with Kelsey and Ali and Kelsey's mom and dad. It was so so much fun. This year I had planned on just staying here and hanging out with my friends and stuff until about a week ago my mom randomly told me we were going to Florida! I'm so so excited. We're going to Universal Studios in Orlando. We went there two summers ago and had a lot of fun. We're leaving on the twenty first and getting back the twenty eighth I think. My mom and dad and brother and sister are all going to go. I can't wait!

Bess

Bess is my piggy! I love her soooooo much! I tend to talk about her a lot. She is a black potbelly pig I got in late May of last year. We got her at Dinkey's. When we first got her she was veryyy tiny. She wouldn't even take a bottle! I remember walking around with her and the whole time she was squealing and making these awful awful noises and everybody was staring at me. On the car ride home she sat in my lap and fell aspleep. It was so precious. Now Bess is around 60 pounds or so. She has her own pen behind our house with straw and her own little house. she loves food, as most pigs do. She will eat pretty much anything except pig food. ironic, right? We've put in other foods and she still won't eat it. Her favorite food is corn or dog food. Bess is a very good piggy. Pig's are supposed to live a long time so I should have her until I'm about 30!

snow!

Tonight it is supposed to snow. A lot! We've all heard this before though, and it rarely happens...I think it's really supposed to this time though! I'm usually not a big fan of snow and the cold and all that, but I do love sledding! I am really hoping that we don't have school and that me and all my friends get to go! There's this big hill by my house and me and a like 20 of my friends are going to go to the hill! I'm so excited! We get old runner sleds and they go so fast! My dad usually makes us a big fire and we roast marshmallows and hot dogs and drink hot chocolate and it's a real fun time. I can't wait! Also, tomorrow is free grand slam day at Denny's! I live not too far from Denny's so hopefully we all get to go their before our sledding begins.
